Which NZ flag would you choose?

We learned that New Zealand's Prime Minister is wondering whether we need a new flag? Room 1 thought we'd have a go at designing a new one. We talked about the colours, the images or icons that would represent New Zealand and also whether we need the Union Jack on our flag. Which flag would you chose to be our new national flag?

    Room One your flags are all bright and colourful. I think the Prime Minister would have a very hard job deciding which one to chose!
    Do you think our country does need a new flag?

      Good question! We had a vote. Exactly half the class want a new flag and half still like the old one!
